About Us
Half a Century of Partnership
Mohammad Forouzanfar and Mohammad Pirooz Hamidi speak about their partnership: Our destinies were similar. We became friends, joined hands, and made our past a guiding light for the future. We needed each other as a starting point, for progress, and to elevate kambiz. We divided the work fairly and committed ourselves to it diligently.
Our Achievements
More than fifty years have passed since the beginning of this journey. We now understand that achieving valuable goals such as high product quality, production along the path of sustainable development, and accepting social responsibility for our beloved Iran would not have been possible without the passionate efforts of the founders, managers, and colleagues at kambiz Food Industries.
Social Responsibility
A project to help fellow humans and the environment began by collecting plastic caps from beverage bottles, shampoos, plastic caps of cream tubes, toothpaste tubes, and similar products. Now, they are sold to recycling units, and wheelchairs are lovingly provided to loved ones in need.

The beginning of Kambiz’s journey and a look into its history and value-driven principles
The Kambiz brand was founded between 1967 and 1968 in the heart of Tehran by two visionary, quality-driven founders, “Mohammad Pirooz Hamidi” and “Mohammad Forouzan-Fard,” under the trade name “first Afshin, then Kambiz.” This beginning was not merely an economic move but a response to a cultural, nutritional, and social need.
At a time when Iran’s food market relied heavily on homemade products or imported goods of uncertain quality, the founders of Kambiz had a different vision: creating an authentic brand built on technical expertise, respect for Iranian taste, and a commitment to consumer health. This vision quickly found its place among Iranian households.
From tradition to industry — without betraying authenticity
The founding philosophy was a blend of honoring Iran’s traditional foods and meeting modern requirements of safety and industrial-grade quality. Mohammad Forouzan-Fard and Mohammad Pirooz Hamidi believed that traditional products such as kashk, pomegranate paste, pickles, and jams — which are deeply rooted in Iran’s culinary heritage — should be produced using modern, clean, and trustworthy methods without sacrificing flavor, nutritional value, or cultural identity.
Unlike many producers of that era who focused solely on quick profit, the founders of Kambiz emphasized lasting quality, premium raw materials, and hygienic, standardized processes. They believed that “consumer trust is more valuable than advertising,” a principle that laid the foundation for one of Iran’s most authentic and enduring food brands.
Choosing the name (Kambiz)
The brand’s name is inspired by an ancient Iranian word meaning “victorious,” “honored,” or “one who succeeds.” Choosing this name reflected the founders’ hope for success rooted in public trust — trust earned not through promises, but through performance, honesty, and quality.
How did Kambiz become a leading brand in the food market?
After its establishment in the late 1960s, Kambiz quickly secured its position in Iran’s consumer market. What distinguished the brand from many competitors was not only its product variety, but its continuous approach to innovation while remaining loyal to tradition. From the beginning, Kambiz was founded on the principle of not merely preserving traditional Iranian products but redefining them in modern, hygienic forms for future generations.

How did Kambiz become a leading brand in the food market?
After its establishment in the late 1960s, Kambiz quickly secured its position in Iran’s consumer market. What set the brand apart was its steady commitment to innovation while honoring tradition. Kambiz aimed not only to preserve traditional Iranian products but to redefine them in modern, safe formats for the generations ahead.
The beginning of Kambiz’s production expansion through a blend of tradition and modern knowledge
The first steps in the brand’s development focused on hygienic production and packaging of traditional Iranian products. Some of the earliest key products of Kambiz included:
• Traditional pasteurized kashk:
One of the brand’s earliest and most successful products, quickly welcomed into Iranian households. At a time when kashk was sold traditionally without precise quality control, Kambiz managed to combine industrial pasteurization with authentic traditional flavor to deliver a safe and reliable product.
• Natural pomegranate paste:
A classic and beloved Iranian condiment, produced by Kambiz using the finest fruits and without chemical additives, while preserving its authentic taste.
• Pickles and preserves:
Prepared using traditional recipes and fresh ingredients, these products were introduced in diverse formats while maintaining their nutritional value.
• Traditional herbal distillates:
By relying on natural distillation methods and carefully selected medicinal herbs, Kambiz created distillates known for being healthy, trustworthy, and of high quality.
How did Kambiz embed global standards in its production processes?
In the following decades, as consumption increased and public awareness of health grew, Kambiz expanded not only its product range but devoted major effort to improving production standards, food safety, and quality management systems.
Key achievements of this phase included obtaining and implementing international standards:
- ISO 9001:
The global quality management standard that ensures products are produced with consistency, high quality, and optimized processes. This standard increased trust in the domestic market and Kambiz’s export capacity.
• ISO 22000:
A specialized standard in food safety that includes control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards throughout the production chain. Kambiz implemented this system to maximize the safety and quality of its products.
• HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points):
A system for hazard analysis and critical control points considered the backbone of food safety. Implementing this system demonstrates Kambiz’s commitment to preventive principles in ensuring consumer health.
Expansion of Infrastructure and Strengthening the Kambiz Brand Structure
Alongside quality improvements, Kambiz has taken significant steps in infrastructure development:
• Modernization of Production Equipment:
Using modern and updated machinery, the production line of many products was optimized and aligned with global standards.
• Increase in Production Capacity:
New phases in the factory and expansion of physical space enabled meeting the growing market demand.
• Establishment of an Independent Quality Control Department:
Specialized laboratories at the factory inspect each shipment physically, chemically, and microbiologically to ensure the health and authenticity of the product before release.
Kambiz Product Diversity and Focus on Health
One of the distinguishing features of the Kambiz brand in the Iranian food industry is the broad and deliberate variety of products alongside focus on natural raw materials, healthy production processes, and elimination of harmful additives. Sustainability and Social Responsibility in Kambiz Brand Strategies
In a world where sustainability has become one of the core pillars of sustainable economic and cultural development, Kambiz has charted its path not only based on economic profitability but also on social responsibility, environmental commitments, and cultural empathy. This approach has transformed the brand from a mere food producer to a social and cultural actor.
Active Participation of Kambiz in Recycling Initiatives like “Recycling Hope”
One of the most prominent signs of Kambiz’s social commitment is active participation in community recycling campaigns, including the “Recycling Hope” project. In this initiative, Kambiz, alongside other community and charitable organizations, helps collect plastic bottle caps that, after processing, are used to fund the production of wheelchairs for people with disabilities.
This action is a shining example of turning waste into hope, and garbage into life. Kambiz’s cooperation in this path goes beyond environmental advertising; it is indeed a form of industrial ethics and human responsibility embedded within the food production and distribution process.
Kambiz’s Role in Social Sustainability and Investment in Local Communities
One of the pillars of sustainability for the Kambiz brand is direct collaboration with local communities in the traditional Kashk production process. This decision aligns with the philosophy of preserving Iranian food culture and balanced development of underprivileged areas, bringing multiple benefits:
• Reviving traditional crafts:
Food handicrafts like traditional Kashk production, once at risk of being forgotten, are revitalized within an economic framework.
• Strengthening the local economy:
By purchasing directly from local producers, capital circulates within rural communities and creates sustainable employment opportunities.
• Preserving food authenticity:
The taste, texture, and properties of local Kashk are preserved industrially and presented in a modern form without compromising its authenticity.
In this approach, the brand has shifted its role from producer to supporter of local culture and economy, a path many global brands are now adopting.
Women’s Presence in Senior Management and a Step Toward Gender Equality
senior organizational levels is clearly visible. This presence is not merely a slogan or symbol but an embodiment of the brand’s belief in justice, diversity, and inclusive participation.
• Women participate in decision-making teams, planning, and brand leadership.
• The organizational culture is designed to provide real participatory spaces for women’s growth in management.
• This approach has not only diversified and made the workforce more creative but also serves as an inspiring model in Iran’s food industry.
In a society where women’s share in senior management remains below desired levels, such a model can be cultural-shaping and hope-inspiring.
Kambiz’s Transparency and Nutritional Responsibility in Raw Material Selection
The Kambiz brand is well aware that “food” is not merely a product, but a carrier of meaning, message, and impact. Accordingly, one of its key principles is transparency in communication with consumers and raising public awareness:
• Clear and precise labeling on products: nutritional information, ingredients, purity percentage, without deception or exaggeration.
• Conducting educational campaigns in healthy nutrition in collaboration with “Mother of the Family” and media outlets.
• Responsible responses to consumer concerns, especially regarding allergies, sugar, salt, and additives.
These actions not only build consumer trust but also play a fundamental role in improving public health levels.
Kambiz’s Collaboration with Nature to Reduce Environmental Impact
Kambiz’s food industry strives in its production chain to adopt a symbiotic approach with the earth rather than mere exploitation of natural resources. The brand’s environmental actions include:
• Reducing water consumption in production lines through internal recycling and consumption optimization.
• Using recyclable packaging and efforts to eliminate unnecessary plastics.
• Reducing energy consumption by replacing systems with smart technology in industrial machinery.
• Safe disposal of industrial and food waste in cooperation with specialized environmental organizations.
On this path, Kambiz seeks to transform from a resource consumer to an aware partner with nature; because true sustainability is realized not only in content but in production and distribution methods.
Quality Network from Farm to Factory
In the structure of the Kambiz brand, quality is not just a stage of the production process but a coordinated and dynamic chain that begins with the first seed in the soil and continues until the final seal of approval on the product packaging. This chain is known as the “Quality Network from Farm to Factory” and plays a key role in building consumer trust and brand sustainability.
Direct Connection with Farmers and Local Producers
In many industrial units, raw material procurement is merely a commercial activity; however, at Kambiz, raw material sourcing is considered a long-term and humane collaboration with local agricultural communities. This continuous and structured connection offers multiple benefits:
• Ensuring the quality of soil, water, seeds, and cultivation methods
• Providing technical training and improving agricultural knowledge for supplier partners
• Improving cultivation patterns with regard to soil health and natural resource conservation
• Fair and timely payment to farmers as part of the brand’s social responsibility
This approach ensures that product quality aligns with Kambiz’s principles from the moment of growth.
Continuous Monitoring from Farm to Factory
Kambiz’s food industry employs field quality control teams for continuous monitoring of planting, caring, and harvesting raw materials. This monitoring system includes:
• Monitoring plant health and levels of chemical or pesticide use
• Sampling products at the harvesting stage
• Monitoring pesticide residues, heavy metals, and biological contamination
• Evaluating texture, color, taste, and effective compounds in medicinal plants or fruits
These data are digitally recorded and transferred to factory technical teams to match input data upon receipt.
Processing in the Factory While Preserving Natural Essence
After raw materials enter the factory, the production process is based on the principle of minimal human and technological intervention in the nature of the food substance, meaning:
• Natural materials are processed without chemical additives or artificial preservatives
• Thermal and pasteurization methods are performed with high precision and control
• Packaging is designed to preserve the taste, color, and properties of the materials
Additionally, production lines are regularly audited and reviewed under international hygiene and quality standards ISO22000 and HACCP.
Complete Supply Chain Traceability
One of the unique features of the Kambiz brand is the full traceability of the production path of each product. For example, in a bottle of pomegranate paste:
• The exact source of the pomegranate harvest can be traced in tracking documents
• Information about soil quality, harvesting methods, and transportation conditions is available
• Exact production date, quality control officer code, and storage conditions are recorded
This level of transparency not only guarantees quality but also indicates the maturity of the brand’s management system in responding to customer trust.
